SHAS is an internal art development team that is focused on providing deep integrated solutions for our EA Studios. This team of artists, technical artists and development managers is energized and committed to supporting EA’s next gen development teams. POGO-English Trainer
As business development needs, we are looking for a part time English teacher to offer on-site English support for Pogo Shanghai Studio. The work for the teacher will be primarily focused on English training classes for the teams and extra English language support for the team is also expected. For the training, the classes are expected to be tailored for difference groups within the Studio including but not limited to QA, Art and Engineering team.
The teacher is expected to offer about 3 training classes a week with about 5-10 students each time. Every class will be held for about one hour starting at 6PM and the teacher is expected to be in office in the working hour on the day of classes so that s/he can offer extra support for the teams. Besides, the teacher should be flexible on his/her schedule in case there is class date adjustments caused by busy time for the team.
Responsibilities:
· Report to Associate Development Director and will work with the team managers to identify the training needs for each group and establish the effective class syllabus and targets for the teams.
· Expected to run pre-evaluation, monitoring of the progress, performance result report for each class member.
· Hold on regular feedback survey from the class and adjust the class for business needs according to the feedback.
· Besides the class, the teacher is expected to offer regular mentoring support towards the team members on their email communication, conference calls and other questions related to work English.
· Implement various creative strategies for enriching the students learning and thus can maintain a good class attendance all throughout.
Requirements:
· Bachelor degree or above on English language major.
· Polished experience on English language lecturing for at least 2 years.
· Proactive working style and a team player.
· Flexible on working hours and dates for the classes.

- Work on all levels of features development for EA Pogo.com, a complex, multi-tier distributed
